A meticulous and visionary leader, Lawrence “Larry” Abbott has built his career—and Abbott Contracting—on a foundation of excellence, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. His journey began as a young carpenter fresh out of college, honing his skills while working for others. But by 1986, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a firm belief that he could set a new standard in the remodeling industry, Larry established his own business.
From the start, his attention to detail, eye for talent, and ability to collaborate seamlessly with other skilled tradespeople set him apart. Under his leadership, Abbott Contracting has grown into a highly respected firm, renowned for its superior craftsmanship, reliability, and the strong network of trusted workmen who share his dedication to quality.
Yet, Larry is more than just a contractor—he is a neighbor, a family man, and a steadfast pillar of the community. His deep-rooted pride in local neighborhoods is evident through nearly two decades of Little League sponsorship, Boy Scout leadership, and volunteer work at local hospitals, his church, and other nonprofit organizations. His commitment extends beyond community service to industry leadership, where he has played an instrumental role in professional organizations such as the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA). In 2018, he served as President of the Remodelers Council, leading key initiatives such as the Charity Project and Charity Garage Sale Fundraiser. Additionally, his longstanding membership in the Better Business Bureau (BBB) reflects his unwavering dedication to ethical business practices.
Through his craftsmanship, leadership, and service, Larry Abbott has not only built a successful company—he has built a legacy.
Esequiel “Joe” Orozco – Master Carpenter
With an impressive tenure of over 30 years at Abbott Contracting, Esequiel “Joe” Orozco has built a reputation as a master carpenter and an exceptional project supervisor. His craftsmanship, leadership, and dedication to customer satisfaction have made him an invaluable asset to the company.
Joe is not only highly skilled in his trade but also deeply committed to maintaining the highest level of professionalism on every job site. Known for his unwavering respect for clients’ properties, he ensures that every project is completed with precision, care, and attention to detail. His strong work ethic, coupled with his courteous and polite demeanor, has earned him the trust and admiration of both colleagues and clients alike.

Ariel Vilorio – Project Coordinator & Field Specialist
As a dedicated Project Coordinator at Abbott Contracting, Ariel Vilorio quickly established himself as a key player in the field, bringing expertise, enthusiasm, and a strong commitment to excellence. Over the past couple of years, he has become the team’s go-to construction and field specialist, demonstrating a hands-on approach and curiosity that drives him to continually expand his knowledge.
Ariel’s academic foundation is rooted in his Associate of Applied Science degree in Construction Management Technology from Houston Community College. His passion for construction and infrastructure extends beyond the present, as he aspires to further his expertise by pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
He is a passionate technology enthusiast who seamlessly integrates innovative digital solutions into our company’s operations.
